Viñedos y Bodegas Sierra Cantabria was founded in 1870 and since then has been engaged in the making of wines in Rioja. Transmitting parenting techniques to children and adapting to new technologies.
Some of the most important pagos and plots of the cellar are, La Veguilla or El Bosque, the first vineyards of the Tempranillo, Viura and Malvasía varieties, planted on boulders from where their Amancio wine is obtained. The second only of Tempranillo variety on clay-sandy soils and with a total area of 1.5 hectares.

The vines are grown on trellises and the harvest is done by hand in boxes of 20 kilograms. The destemming is done by hand and the stepped is done in the traditional way. The grains are selected one by one in the cellar to get the best fruits. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the malolactic fermentation in this type of deposits or in oak barrels.
