Borsao Berola 2015 is made from the varieties Garnacha (80%) and Syrah (20%). The grapes come from old vines of Grenache between 35 and 60 years old and Syrah of 10 years. Both varieties are grown at 600-700m altitude on clay-limestone and silty soils. For its elaboration, a maceration of 3-4 days is carried out first. Then, each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22-26ºC.
After the Berola winemaking, it is aged for 14 months in Bordeaux barrels of French and American oak.
Borsao Berola 2015 is ideal to accompany sausages, stews, grilled red meats, sheep's cheeses, roasts and beef. It is recommended to decant one hour before tasting it.
