Queulat Gran Reserva Carmenere 2014 is a blend of the Carmenere and Syrah varieties. Grapes harvested by hand and from selected bunches at the moment in which the grape presents optimal organoleptic qualities of aromas and maturity. In the winery, a pre-fermentative maceration is carried out at low temperatures to extract more quantity of color and aroma, then the must was fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in barrels of French oak (50%) and American oak (50%), and 3 months in bottle.
Queulat Gran Reserva Carmenere 2014 is ideal to accompany semi-hard cheeses like Provolone or Emmental type and stewed meats with vegetables in herbal and mushroom sauces. It is recommended to drink now, but staying in the bottle for 7 more years will bring out new sensations.
