Barceló Gran Añejo emerged in 1930 with the dream of Julián Barceló, born in Mallorca (Spain), who in that year founded Barceló & CO in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

After the dream of making the best rum in the world, in 1929 Julián Barceló, a 25-year-old Spanish man, arrived in Santo Domingo founding Barceló & Co.

Elaboration

Barceló Gran Añejo is made with a mixture of highly aged rums and rested in first-use American oak bourbon barrels. As a result of its careful production process, we obtain a light, fragrant rum with an unmatched bouquet.
