Fishing Reserve 2020

Pesquera Reserva 2020 is a red wine made with the Tempranillo grape variety and aged 24 months in oak barrels. It is an expressive, round and elegant wine. One of the classic jewels of the Ribera del Duero.

Made by Bodegas Pesquera founded by Alejandro Fernández in the seventies, currently being the flagship of his Grupo De Cuatro Bodegas.

Preparation and aging

Pesquera Reserva 2020 is a single varietal of the Tinto Fino variety. After destemming the grapes, they are fermented at a controlled temperature for between 2 and 3 weeks.

When the fermentation is completed, it is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels. Once this process is finished and before it is released to the market, it rests for 12 months in the bottle.

• View: Pesquera Reserva has a dark and deep cherry color, with violet reflections. High layer. Clean and bright. Elegant tinted tear.
• Nose: Nose of high intensity, aromatic and expressive. In the still glass, woods appear that when opened appear elegant and creamy and mix with suggestive roasted notes. Notes of red and black fruit, ripe and fleshy, appear slowly and progressively. Once opened, the fruit is nuanced by a wide range of spicy notes, tobacco, cocoa and intense memories of licorice.
• Mouth: Wide, enveloping entrance. It is a long-lasting red wine, silky, dry, intense and elegant. The fruit appears very fleshy, tasty, full of spices and toast. Perfect acidity, integrated and defined, elegant and very pleasant tannins. Very persistent long finish.

Pairing

Pesquera reserva is ideal to accompany roasted and grilled red meats, cured and aged cheeses and beef.

It is recommended to consume at a temperature of 16ºC.

It is recommended to decant before consuming.
