Pago de Carraovejas Reserva 2014 is a red wine from D.O. Ribera del Duero, made with the grapes Tinto Fino 76% and Cabernet Sauvignon 16% and Merlot 8%. The harvest is done manually, selecting the grapes in the same vine and on arrival at the winery. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, the destemmed and almost whole grape enters into very large vats where it performs alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts.
The malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging of 12 months, takes place in superfine French oak extra fine grain barrels.
Pago de Carraovejas Reserva 2014 is ideal to accompany beef, roasted red meats, red meats with sauce, roast suckling pig, Iberian Bellota ham, aged cheeses and sheep cheeses.
