Product Description Cair Cuvée 2017

Winemaking and aging 

Cair Cuvée 2017 is a blend of Tempranillo and Merlot from low-production vineyards planted about 900 meters above sea level that produce doubly selected small grapes before proceeding to winemaking. It is made by Luis Cañas.

Aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels for between one and three years.

Cair Cuvée 2017 Tasting Note

  • View: Cair Cuvée 2017 has a cherry red color with an intense garnet rim. Medium-high layer, it is very bright and has a fine tear.
  • Nose: High intensity nose in which a powerful black fruit stands out at its ripening point together with intense lactic notes. Little by little and as it opens, it exudes spicy aromas and fine toasted notes.
  • Palate: It has a fleshy, powerful mouth, in which the fruit initially gives way to intense toasted and spicy notes to reappear in retronasal. It has a good acidity, defined and refreshing and a high tannic sensation. Long and persistent finish.


Rice with meat, vegetables, sausages, grilled red meats, roasts and white meats with sauce.

It is recommended to serve this red wine at a temperature of 16ºC.
