Winemaking and aging
Hito 2021 is a 100% fine red single varietal. The grape macerates for 18 days and undergoes pumping. Subsequently, it is aged for eight months in French oak barrels, which gives it subtle elegance and sets it apart from other young wines in the area, approaching wines with a certain aging due to maturity. The word “Hito” means a stone post, sometimes carved, which serves to indicate the direction or distance on the roads or to delimit land.
Hito 2021 was born as a young wine to complete the range of a modern and innovative winery. Made with the youngest vineyards of the winery, grafted with the Tinto Fino clones from the most emblematic vineyards of Bodegas Emilio Moro.

- Nose: On the nose it appears as a mature, interesting and complex group, with black fruit compote seasoned with contributions of spices and licorice. A glass standing we can distinguish the aromas of coffee and coconut typical of its upbringing, which give it elegance and finesse.
- Palate: In the mouth it is friendly and sweet, well balanced and with a warm and persistent aftertaste.
