Winemaking and Ageing

Melior 2022 is a Tempranillo mono-varietal grape. The grapes come from vineyards of Villabuena Pago, planted on frank sandy and limy soils about 800 meters above sea level. Melior remains for 6 months in new American oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle.

Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature in a controlled way.

Melior 2022 Tasting Notes

• View: Melior 2022 has a dark coat and purple tones Cardinal. At sight it is shown clean and bright.
• Nose: Remarkable complexity of primary fruits going from ripe red fruits to strawberry and raspberry, well assembled with spicy aromas coming from aging, highlighting coffee flavors, licorice and vanilla.
• Palate: voluminous and intense, and at the same time cheerful and fresh. Remarkable sip, with significant sweet tannins. Important fruity sensations, including clean wood touches, with long lingering finish.

Melior 2022 is ideal with grilled, soft meat stews, cheeses and sausages.
