Allende 2014
Allende 2014 is the best-known wine of the house, combining elegance and complexity and showing it with its balsamic aromas and round tannins.
Despite producing wine since 1995, the winery's history dates back 30 years, when Miguel Ángel de Gregorio took over the historic vineyards of Marqués de Murrieta, the first producer of Rioja wine.

Winemaking and aging
Allende 2014 is made with the Tempranillo variety. The harvest and selection are made manually. The clusters were destemmed and not squeezed. A pre-fermentation maceration was done at 5ºC, for 6 days. The fermentation was controlled at 28ºC for 10 days in stainless steel tanks, applying three pumping over daily. After the fermentation a second maceration for 16 days is made with the skins. A vertical pressing is carried out before the malolactic fermentation, carried out in stainless steel.
Finally, Allende 2014 ages for 14 months in Bordeaux barrels of French oak. The racking is done every 4 months.
