Numanthia 2013 is a red wine with Denomination of Origin Toro, a monovarietal of tinta de Toro. The harvest is done manually and therefore the bunches are collected at the optimum moment of maturity. The fermenting takes place in a total of 9 days with daily punching and at a controlled temperature of 26-28ºC. Later the maceration lasts a total of 25 days with skins and smoother "pigeage" than in the fermentation.
Finally the aging takes place during 18 months in new barrels of French oak, the racking in this case are made every 4 months.
Numanthia 2013 is ideal to accompany game dishes, red meats, roasts, meat stews and cured cheeses.
It is recommended to decant before consuming, and serve at a temperature of 16ºC.
