Winemaking and Aging

Flor de Vetus 2019 is a monovarietal 100% Tinta de Toro. It comes from a vineyard with 20 hectares where a manual harvest is carried out. The fermentation of this wine is made in conical shape tanks. Finally, it goes through a process of aging for 9 months in French (50%) and American (50%) oak barrels.

  • View: Flor de Vetus 2019 has a dark cherry colour with a garnet edge.
  • Nose: Medium-high intensity in which the fruit clearly predominates. Red fruits, currants, blackberries, and black berries give way to balsamic, spicy and lactic notes. In the background, soft toasted.
  • Palate: Fresh, pleasant step by mouth and persistent pleasant finish.
