Bodegas Beronia was born in 1973 in La Rioja and joined the Gonzales Byass group in 1982.

Bodegas Beronia was born in La Rioja Alta in 1973, with a total of 25 hectares of vineyard owned. The rest of the grapes used to make their wines come from 870 hectares located within a radius of 10 kilometers, of which 50 are over 60 years old.

The cellar works with more than 200 winegrowers in the area. The vineyards have an average age of 30 years, although some of their vines are over 100 years old. Some of its vineyards were planted in 2011 using sustainable viticulture.

85% of the vineyards are of the Tempranillo variety and the rest are Graciano, Mazuelo, Garnacha and Viura varieties, with an average yield of 6,500 kilograms per hectare for the reds and 9,000 kilograms per hectare for the white ones.

95% of the wines in this cellar are long-aged red, which characterizes Bodegas Beronia, which has an aging room with more than 30,000 barrels that undergo racking every 4 months.

They also have a cellar in Rueda where technology and architecture are at the service of nature, here they own 65 hectares of vineyards in two different farms: El Torrejón and La Perdiz, all of them of the Verdejo grape variety.
