Bodegas Baigorri was born in 2002 although it was in 2007 when Pedro Martínez Hernández acquired and there's when the project began to be promoted.
Bodegas Baigorri is located in the town of Samaniego, in the province of Álava. In this cellar, the use of mechanical means to manipulate the grape as little as possible, is avoided, where the architecture is designed for the correct wine-making process and not for aesthetic reasons.
The entrance to the cellar is made through a large glass opening where you get a privileged view of Sierra Cantabria, the town where it is located and the vineyard extensions that extend to the Ebro river.
The Bodegas Baigorri cellar is located underground and is divided into 8 floors with a total height of 37 meters. The reception of the grape in the selection tables is carried out by vibration and continues until the maceration tanks. The aging warehouse where the barrels are located is isolated from the rest of the cellar and they are at a controlled temperature and humidity.
There are 2 products.
Baigorri Crianza 2019, made with Tempranillo and Grenache. This is a wine where black fruit, even compote, stands out, with an attractive and balanced passage through the mouth. A wine to love.
