The Palacios Remondo cellar is a family business founded in 1945 located in Alfaro (La Rioja). It has 110 hectares of vineyards in the eastern Mediterranean Rioja.
The Palacios Remondo cellar is located in the Rioja in the town of Alfaro. It makes wines with Rioja Appellation of Origin.
On its slope is located La Montesa, a vineyard of the Garnacha grape variety, formed by clay soils and calcium carbonate where there are also boulders of volcanic origin. This hillside extends through the landscapes of Valtomelloso, Valviejo and Valfrío. The vineyard is located at a maximum altitude of 550 meters above sea level.
This cellar also has vineyards of the Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grape varieties. All are vineyards that have grown naturally without using any type of chemical additive, and once in the cellar the wine is made without the use of foreign yeasts and preserving its pulp and skin.
