Bodegas Mauro produces wines since 1978 is located in Tudela de Duero, municipality of the province of Valladolid in the heart of the Douro Valley.

Bodegas Mauro is located in a seventeenth century mansion, with an underground cellar and where the aging and bottling areas are placed. Located in the province of Valladolid, a land with a long viticultural tradition.

This cellar is characterized by producing wines with limited, balanced productions that enhance the identity of the terroir and the characteristics of each grape variety.

The cellar has 80 hectares of vineyards, of the varieties tinto fino and shyra, cultivated on limestone or clay-calcareous soils, easy to work with good filtration. The vineyards have an average age of 25 years and a production of between 3,000 and 5,000 kilograms per hectare. It does not use herbicides to fully respect the natural maturation process.

The climate of the area is a continental climate with Atlantic influence, with large changes in temperature between day and night, which favors the correct maturation of the grape.
