Bodegas Leda was founded in 1988 and is located in Tudela del Duero, Valladolid, in a mansion of the 19th century.

Bodegas Leda is located in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León in Valladolid, in a 19th century mansion. An area where the tradition of wine making goes back to the Middle Ages.

Founded in 1998 by a group of friends including Alberto and Eduardo García who were joined in 2009 by the Masaveu family, and since 2017 Bodegas Masaveu assumes 100% of the cellar. This Cellar produces wines with the Tempranillo grape variety from the old vines located in the Douro Valley.

The cellar has a production of about 80,000 bottles a year, and its vineyards produce between 2,500-4,500 kilograms per hectare.

The strains from who's grapes they make their wine come from different plots of different winemakers. Some vines with more than 80 years of life. In the cellar, pruning is given special importance in order to improve the natural growth of the vine, which is done twice a year.

By means of exhaustive quality controls to the harvest, it is prior  that the harvesting of the fruits take place at the optimum moment of ripeness.

The must is macerated with its skin and seeds in metal vats. The subsequent malolactic fermentation reduces the acidity of the wine. Finally, the aging process takes place in underground caves for 12-36 months in French and American oak barrels.
