Bodegas Loess is a cellar that was born in 2001 by experts with more than 18 years of workg in the wine world.

Located in the municipality of Roa, Burgos, its vineyards are located on soils classified as excellent in the zoning made by the Polytechnic University of Madrid for the Regulatory Council of the appellation of Origin Ribera del Duero.

The first harvest was made in 2004, the year in which they began to make their famous red wines of Ribera del Duero. Currently they also produce white wines in the Rueda appellation of Origin.

The vineyards of Tinta del País grape varietyare located in Roa and extends over 27 hectares. These vineyards are divided into 6 farms called: Corderilla, Carravalcavado 1, Carravalcavado 2, Carravalcavado 3, Carraboada 1 and Carraboada 2. The white wines are made with the Verdejo grape variety.

The cellar produces a total of 5 wines, 3 under the appellation of Origin Ribera del Duero and 2 under the Rueda appellation of Origin. The red wines remain in barrels between 7 and 24 months depending on each harvest, and all of them remain aging in wood longer than the minimum imposed by the legal regulations. White wines ferment in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels.
