Pinna Fidelis is a family cellar born in 2001 in the municipality of Peñafiel in the heart of Ribera del Duero and produces young wines and crianzas.
Pinna Fidelis is a cellar located in Ribera del Duero since 2001 and whose winemaking mixes tradition and innovation.
The vineyard occupies a space of 15 kilometers from north to south and 5 kilometers from east to west. The grape variety that predominates is the Tinta del Pais and they are located on poor soils with little organic matter and limestone.
The maceration of the wines lasts around 20-35 days and once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine goes to the barrel without any previous treatment.
The aging takes place in new barrels of French and American oak, with constant racking. Once this process is finished the wine is clarified and bottled. Young wines stay in breeding, in the bottle for 3 months, the wines are aged for 12 months, a reserva wine, for 24 months and the grand wines for 36 months.
