Javier San Pedro Ortega is a native of Laguardia where he owns more than 100 hectares of vineyards and he is the oenologist of the cellar that carries his name. He is the fifth generation of the family that produces wines with grapes from their own vineyards. In 2005, when he was 17 years old he made his first wine.

After 8 years working in his father's winery, he decided to start his project based on two different wine ranges: first the Cueva de Lobos range, whose wines are modern and aromatic, and secondly the Viuda Negra range, whose grapes come from ancient vineyards of which only the best grapes of each plot are obtained. On the other hand also manufactures the wine Anahí, a semi-sweet white wine.
