Bodegas Y Viñedos Artadi was born in 1986 from the hand of a group of winegrowers in La Rioja Alavesa, of which Juan Carlos López de Lacalle was in charge.
Bodegas Y Viñedos Artadi was born in Laguardia in 1985, from the hand of a group of winegrowers in La Rioja Alavesa. The expansion of the cellar also reached Navarra (Bodegas y Viñedos Artazu) and Alicante (Bodegas y Viñedos El Sequé) in 1996 and 1999 respectively.
The Bodegas Y Viñedos Artadi cellar has a total of 83 hectares of vineyard, these vineyards are planted on soils formed by limestone, gravel and clay. In addition, the climate varies greatly throughout the year with large temperature changes, cold winters and very hot summers.
The cellar is committed to organic viticulture, using indigenous yeasts and the absence of chemical treatments.
Since 2015 the Bodegas Y Viñedos Artadi cellar has not been part of the Regulatory Council of the Rioja Qualified D.O, but continues to make wine in this region. They try to show differentiating elements to excel in the production of their wines.
