Vista

Graham's Fine Tawny is a fortified wine with Designation of Origin Porto (Portugal), produced by Graham's Winery, founded in 1820 by two Scottish families in Portugal.
It is a wine made with different types of grapes: Tinta Roriz, Touriga nacional, Touriga franca, Alicante Bouschet and Tinta amárela.
Graham's Fine Tawny is a generous and elegant wine, composed of the best grapes that provide a ruby color and fruity aromas.
Elaboration
Graham's Fine Tawny, to become a fortified wine, begins with the harvesting of different types of grapes. It is obtained from mixing wines from different vintages. At the time of fermentation, wine spirit is added to the must. In this way, its alcoholic volume increases. Subsequently, it matures for 3 years in oak barrels, which allows the wine to come into contact with the oxygen that freely permeates the wood of the barrels. It offers a delicate balance of fruitiness and nuts, derived from maturation in seasoned oak barrels.

History
Graham's is the story of two families who have worked hard for three centuries. For almost 200 years, W & J Graham's has been a family business renowned for producing the finest port wines. This is because it was one of the first companies to invest in its own vineyards in Portugal's Douro Valley in 1890. Currently, it is working on all kinds of technical winemaking innovations, to increase its potential.
The quality of Graham's Port depends on the best grapes, primarily from five iconic Douro Valley estates: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages, and two others, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, which are owned private property of a member of the Symington family. Located in the heart of the Alto Douro valley, all of these villas enjoy a hot, dry microclimate and a unique shale soil found in this region. Together, these two factors provide the perfect conditions for both the growth and ripening of grapes.
Buying Graham's Fine Tawny En Copa de Balón is easy, convenient, and with the guarantee of obtaining the best wine, at the best price and in perfect condition.
