Description
El Médico 2013 is a red wine from Bodegas Leyenda del Páramo, made entirely from Prieto Picudo grapes.
Bodegas Leyenda del Páramo was founded in 2010 in Valdevimbre (León) to produce quality wines with native varieties from the southern part of the province of León: Prieto Picudo (red) and Albarín (white).
Preparation and aging
El Médico 2013 is made entirely from Prieto Picudo grapes. The harvest is carried out manually in small 20 kg boxes and, after careful selection, the grapes are cold-premated for 24 hours and fermented at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, it undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging in new and second-use oak barrels.
