Pagos de Posada 2017 is a complex and structured wine but also subtle and very elegant.

Bodegas Estefanía was founded in 1999 by the Frías family. Located in Ponferrada (León), it produces red wines from Mencía in the Bierzo Designation of Origin.

Preparation and Aging

Pagos de Posada 2017 is a wine made from 100% Mencía del Bierzo grapes from a vineyard selected for its special characteristics, varietals between 80 and 90 years old with very small clusters. Fermentation with 15% stems, in open French oak fodder, gentle extraction by bazuqueo.

Aging in lightly toasted French oak barrels for 12-18 months.
