Sela 2023

Sela 2023 made with Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha, despite being the most basic wine of the Winery, we find it to be a well-structured, tasty, fresh and very fruity wine. A very pleasant and enjoyable wine.

Bodegas Roda was founded in 1987, in a vineyard overlooking the Ebro in the Estación de Haro neighborhood, making wines of the highest quality ever since.

Preparation and aging

Sela 2023 is grown through sustainable viticulture in glass-shaped vineyards that are 15 to 30 years old. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak vats.

The aging is done in semi-new 100% French oak barrels. 12 months in barrel.

Tasting Note of Sela 2023

• View: Sela is bright red, with a medium layer and red trim.
• Nose: Very pleasant with a sensation of red fruit along the lines of fresh and well-ripe cherry, some notes of strawberry and light licorice. The wood is imperceptible despite having spent a year in second and third wine barrels. After the fruit, a light floral range appears that surrounds the presence of the cherry. There are fine notes of sweet spices.
• Mouth: Medium volume, friendly, fresh, tasty and cheerful. The tannin is very polished, with a silky character. The red fruit runs through the mouth, leaving a sensation of freshness and friendliness. It shows an excellent vintage that combines maturity and freshness.

Sela is ideal to accompany roasts, roast lamb, stews, sheep cheeses, grilled meats and sausages.
