La Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri cellar was born when a count named Erramel founded Erramelluri. The location of this place surrounded by mountains makes its crops protected from wind and frost.
It was in 1967 when Jaime Rodríguez Salís and Amaya Hernandorena acquired the farm and began acquiring nearby land until it currently had 154 hectares of which 90 were vineyards.
The vineyard has 200 hectares of about 0.6 hectares cultivated through organic farming without using herbicides or biodynamic treatments. As for La Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri cellar, it is located between the vineyards and it descends in a southerly direction, until you reach a small gabled hut with sandstone walls, an example of the many huts for winegrowers in the area, worked in traditional agriculture.
