Dominio del Bendito winery was founded in 2004 by Antony Terryn. Located in Toro has 15 hectares of own vineyards, plus another 15 that they manage directly.

Dominio del Bendito winery owns an old vineyard, 80% of the hectares are over 45 years old and were planted on their own roots. The rest of the vineyard is between 15 and 30 years old.

The area where it is located is characterized by having a continental climate with extreme temperatures that can range from -13ºC to 40ºC. There is a great difference in temperature between day and night, which favors the correct ripening of the grapes.

The vineyards are planted on sandy soils and boulders which provides good drainage to the plant. The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 600 and 750 meters.

In the La Jara pago, 80% of the vineyards are over 45 years old and planted on Pie Franco. The rest are between 14 and 30 years old. In addition to their own vineyards they also have around 15 additional hectares.

The harvest is done by hand in boxes of 12 kilograms and once it arrives to the winery it makes a cold maceration for two to three days. The grapes go through a selection table to guarantee the use of the best fruits. The maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks and concrete with epoxy resin. The red wines reach 28-32ºC at the end of the fermentation. The fermentation and maceration time ranges between 15-20 days and up to more than 40 days for the most exceptional grape.

This winery produces three red wines with Toro Appellation of Origin: El primer Paso, Las Sabias and El Titán del Bendito. In addition this winery produces other wines of investigation outside the Denomination of Origin, they are sweet wines characterized by a great balance, these wines are: Antojo Rubio and La Chispa Negra.

The annual production of the winery ranges between 60,000 and 70,000 bottles.
