List of products by brand Illva Saronno

Illva Saronno is part of the ILLVA SARONNO Holding SpA Group (a company whose business focuses on alcoholic beverages, semi-finished ice creams, bakery products and optical lenses).

Illva Saronno is the part of the company in charge of making alcoholic beverages, mainly liqueurs.

The legend that speaks of the emergence of Disaronno Amaretto, arises in 1525 when the pinto Bernardino Luini, a student of Da Vinci, was in charge of decorating the Sanctuary of Saronno dedicated to the Madonna dei Miracoli. As a model, she chose an innkeeper from the area, and to thank her, she received a jug filled with a very delicate amber liquor.

In the year 1600, there were many families that produced liqueurs in an artisanal way and one of those families was the Queen's Family, who in the 17th century rediscovered the ancient recipe for this liquor. The recipe was passed down from generation to generation until Domenico Reina opened the first store in the center of Saronno in the early 20th century.

In the late 70s, the liquor was transformed, although retaining the original flavor and recipe, but it began to be marketed through retailers in as many countries as possible. From the end of the last century to the present day, the company has become a spokesperson for the Italian style of the beverage in the world. It is marketed in more than 160 countries.
