Tinto Pesquera cellar was born in the 70s and is one of the most prestigious cellars in Spain and the most emblematic of the Pesquera Group.
Tinto Pesquera was born in the 70s, in a small stone cellar of the 16th century, belongs to the Fishing Group, being the most important winery of the group.
The vineyards of this cellar are of the Tempranillo grape variety, bathed by the Duero River. The vines are placed on low trellises. The soil on which they are located are poor soils but with good drainage, formed by sand and gravels on limestones and clays. The vineyard measures more than 200 hectares.
The harvest takes place from August to October. The wines are elaborated from destemmed whole fruits, the fermentation between 2 and 3 weeks is carried out at a controlled temperature, and then the wines go into French and American oak barrels for aging, where they rest for a maximum of 24 months.

Pesquera Crianza 2020 is a red wine with a lot of personality, long aftertaste and structure.

Pesquera Reserva 2019 is a red wine made with Tempranillo grape variety and aged for 24 months in oak barrels. It's an expressive wine, round and elegant. One of the classic jewels of Ribera del Duero.
