Bodegas y Viñedos Gormaz is a cellar founded in 1972 in Ribera del Duero and one of the founders of this Appellation of Origin.

Bodegas y Viñedos Gormaz is one of the veteran cellars of the Appellation Ribera del Duero, being part of the founding group. It belongs to D.O.5 Hispanobodega sl, for many years it was the only Soriana cellar in the Appellation of Origin Ribera del Duero.

Since the early 90's the cellar has been immersed in numerous renovations that have endowed the cellar with machinery and the  necessary technology for the current commercialization of more than a million and a half bottles. Currently the cellar produces red, white, rosé wines, young crianzas etc ... and has around 2,000 American and French oak barrels.

The climate of the area is Mediterranean although with areas where the continental predominates, this is due to the altitude of the vineyard that is between the 845 and 960 meters of altitude. The cellar has 232 hectares of vineyards that are spread over 1,000 plots. The soils are of a great variety whose common characteristic is the calcareous rock in depth.

The cellars are located in a total of 20 different municipalities with sandy-loam, loam-limestone, loam-clay soils and a more marked continental character than in the rest of the Ribera del Duero.
