Bodega Viña Real was launched in 1920 by the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, being one of the pioneers in the production of aging wines in oak barrels.

Bodega Viña Real is located in the area of ​​La Rioja and was born from the hand of C.V.N.E.(Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España). They are characterized by the mixture of tradition and modernization in the production of their wines.

Located in the Rioja Alavesa, whose vineyards are also located near the old Camino Real. From the Sierra de Cantabia the vineyards are sloping towards the Ebro basin, protected by the Rioja Alavesa, the Atlantic soil is combined with clay and calcareous soils.

The cellar was designed by a French architect and is divided in three buildings, the main one in Red Cedar and is shaped like a tub. The wine rests in caves excavated thanks to the best cutting-edge technology.

The harvest is done manually, half of its grapes come from their own vineyards and the rest of the vine growers in the area. Once in the cellar, go through a manual selection table. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation takes place in oak vats and tanks. Finally, the breeding time. The wines are filtered and bottled, where once in the caverns they spend a time of aging before going out to the market.
