The expert says

Product Description Amaretto Disaronno

Elaboration

The word Amaretto comes from the Italian amaro, "bitter", due to the aftertaste in the mouth that makes the drink, unlike most liquors, much easier to drink, as it does not leave a sweet and cloying aftertaste.

Amaretto Disaronno is an almond liqueur macerated in wine alcohol. The recipe has remained almost unchanged, and its packaging is appropriate for the prestige of this liquor. For its elaboration the essences of 17 herbs and fruits are used (a secret formula of the processor, that has remained intact throughout the years), that accompany their main ingredient, the almond, macerated in wine alcohol. Other ingredients used in your recipe are: Apricot kernel oil with pure alcohol, caramelised sugar, vanilla and other herbs and fruits.

Amaretto Disaronno Tasting Notes

  • View: Disaronno Amaretto has a golden amber color with reddish and reddish sparkles.
  • Nose: The aromas of vanilla, caramelised sugar, apricot kernel and, of course, bitter almonds stand out in the nose.
  • Palate: In the mouth there is a great balance between sweet and bitter notes, with hints of peach and cherries in retronasal.

Recommendation of consumption

Disaronno is ideal to accompany some desserts such as tiramisu or the gypsy arm or it is also mixed in a variety of cocktails and lately Amaretto di Saronno ice creams are also made.

One of the most popular ways to drink this liqueur is to mix it with lemon juice, sugar and plenty of crushed ice.

Buying Amaretto Disaronno in En Copa de Balón is easy, convenient, and with the guarantee to get the best liqueur at the best price, and in perfect condition.
