Winemaking and aging
Corimbo I 2016 is made with grapes from the Tinta del País variety. The harvest is done manually and the grape undergoes a strict selection process. The process of elaboration begins with a maceration of the grape. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak vats while the malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels.
Corimbo I 2016 goes through an aging of 16 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels. It is stabilized by natural means and clarified with egg albumin.

- View: Corimbo I 2016 has a very intense deep layer color, with a very dark background and cherry red border.
- Nose: Very intense, deep, elegant, intoxicating. Perfectly assembled wood. A lot of ripe black fruit, in the line of plum and blackberry. Mineral notes and sweet spices of great quality appear, sensations of dark chocolate together with the ripe fruit and the broken bone of the plum.
- Palate: Very voluminous, fullness sensation since the wine enters the mouth, ripe and fresh black fruit, mineral, with chocolate memories. Powerful retronasal path, with refreshing and balsamic notes from aromatic plants of the forest. High quality tannin present.
