Protos Crianza 2019

Protos Crianza 2019 , made with 100% red grapes from the country, is an elegant and very aromatic wine, one of the most desired wines by great lovers of Ribera del Duero wines.

Protos can boast of having several wineries in different denominations. They are different in form but very similar in substance: the search for quality above all.

Preparation and aging

Protos Crianza 2019 is a single-varietal 100% Tinto Fino. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature control that ranges between 26-28ºC. Maceration lasts about two weeks, with four daily pumping overs.

Aging for 14 months in barrels (33% new French oak, 34% one-year-old French and American oak, and 33% two-year-old French and American oak). Afterwards, aging continued in the bottle for 12 months.

• Nose: Ripe fruit with spicy tones, with toasted oak.
• Mouth: Broad, structured and loaded with fruit. In the mouth, the pleasant fruity sensations mentioned in the nose are reproduced, accompanied by memories of its noble woods, very well integrated. Persistent, very aromatic finish.
