Bodegas López de Heredia Viña Tondonia is a cellar born in 1877, and in 1913 the "Viña Tondonia" plantation was carried out.

Bodegas López de Heredia Viña Tondonia was born in 1877 in the province of Haro in La Rioja Alta. Founded by Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta, begins this year to build this cellar.

It was between 1913 and 1914 when the "Viña Tondonia" plantation project was carried out, thus giving rise to the best-known product from this cellar. This vineyard has more than 100 hectares located on the banks of the Ebro river. López de Heredia also owns other vineyards in La Rioja called "Viña Cubillo", "Viña Bosconia" and "Viña Zaconia".

The vineyards occupy a total of 170 hectares with a production of around 800,000 kilograms of grapes. Bodegas López de Heredia Viña Tondonia occupies a total of around 50,000 square meters. Within these facilities we can find the draft, 10 meters deep, where the wines rest in a total of 13,000 Bordeaux barrels.
