The Chivas Brothers began to be known internationally and exported their whisky worldwide. In 1843 they made their first delivery to the royal house, serving Queen Victoria.
In 1909 Charles Howard and Alexander Smith created the world's first luxurious whisky using a 25-year blend. After the alcohol ban and the closing of bars in New York, Girls closed, but returned in 1938 with a 12-year-old mix that captivated the public.
