Cosme Palacio Crianza 2020 is a very elegant wine, aged only in barrels from the best French cooperages. The character of the best Riojan grape is sought with the soft tannins of quality wood.

Cosme Palacio is a winery from 1863, trying to bring modernity to Rioja Alavesa wines in the Bordeaux style, and since then betting on quality grapes and careful production.

Preparation and aging

Cosme Palacio Crianza 2020 is a 100% Tempranillo single-varietal wine. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Grapes destemmed without crushing that after long macerations are fermented in stainless steel tanks with automatic control of temperature, pumping over and micro oxygenation. Malolactic fermentation: takes place in French oak barrels.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and 10 months in the bottle.
