Vega Sicilia Unico Reserva Especial is a coupage of varieties Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The grapes are harvested after a thorough selection process of the grains. The transport to the winery is carried out using small boxes, so that the grape doesn't break and does not lose the freshness that characterizes it. Once in the winery, the grapes are destemmed and then macerated at a controlled temperature. The must of Vega Sicilia Unico Reserva Especial obtained carries out a first fermentation in various wooden and stainless steel containers. Subsequently, it ages for two years in large capacity wood tanks. Ultimately and before being bottled, it rests at least 18 months in new barrels and another 30 months in used barrels.
