Jameson Whiskey is made through 3 ingredients: barley, corn and pure Irish water. It suffers a process of 3 distillations, just as it was done at its origin more than 100 years ago.
The barley undergoes 3 processes of malting: with soaking the barley is bathed for several days with Irish water. During germination the barley grows until it has produced the enzymes necessary for its collection. And finally, the barley is baked and dried with warm, clean air.
This Whiskey has a distillation in copper stills after the fermentation and later an aging in 3 different barrels: in sherry boots, bourbon barrels and port pipes.
