Bodegas PradoRey is located in the municipality of Gumiel de Mercado (Burgos) and is made up of a total of 520 hectares of vineyards divided in 8 pagos.

Bodegas PradoRey consists in a total of 8 pagos: Hoyo Dornajo, La Mina, Prado del Rey, El Pino, Los Robles, Valdelayegua, Salguero and La Recorba. In the beginning they had 200 hectares of vineyards and currently have reached a total of 520 hectares. In addition this extensive land also has an inn, a solar garden, the Ermita de San Andrés and a hydroelectric dam.

They have the largest wine area in the Ribera del Duero, where they work mainly with the grape varieties : Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, some of these vineyards with more than 100 years of age.

It was in 1996 when the winery launched its first harvest of red and rosé wine in the Ribera del Duero, and in 2005 the first one of white wine. The winery is located on the hillside to have the optimum temperature and humidity to achieve the best aging and aging of their wines.

The cellar has a set of French oak cones from Nevers with a capacity of 21,000 liters for the aging of the wines, in addition to the traditional French, American and Central European oak barrels, each with a maximum capacity of 300 liters.
