El Prohibido is one of the most personal wines of Raúl Pérez, one of the most innovative winemakers in Spain, in the Miño area. It is made with Mencía and Sousón.
Finca Millara Bodegas y Viñedos, in the area of Ribeira Sacra, has a medieval origin, and seeks in that tradition and respect for the grape its signs of identity.

Winemaking and Aging
El Prohibido is made with the Mencía and Sousón grape varieties. Aging lasts 6 months and occurs in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, it spends 4 months in French oak barrels. Lastly and once bottled it rests for 6 months before going on the market.

- Palate: Silky and sweet with good acidity and a long and persistent finish.
