Bellmunt 2021

Bellmunt 2021 is a wine with Priorat designation of origin made from a blend of Garnacha and Cariñena, typical of Priorat.

Mas d'en Gil makes this red wine in Bellmunt del Priorat, south of Priorat, where licorella (slate) soils predominate and give the wines a tastier and less aggressive air.

Preparation and aging

Bellmunt 2021 is made with 70% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, from different plots located in the Bellmunt valley. This Wine is aged for 10 months in barrels of different capacities 3,000, 1,500 and 225 liters.

It also rests in the bottle for a period of approximately 12 months.

• View: Bellmunt has a cherry red color.
• Nose: On the nose, the intense and juicy ripe fruit gives way to fresh balsamic, light toasted notes and good herbaceous notes (aromatic herbs and dried flower). Light and subtle mineral background.
• Mouth: Tasty and enveloping, with a silky texture and a light, tasty and smooth palate. Good fresh and fruity finish.

Bellmunt is ideal to accompany roasted red meats, large game, wild boar, veal in sauce, sausages, pepper steak and duck.
