Enate Crianza 2020

Enate Crianza 2020 is a red wine from the DO Somontano and one of the winery's main references. We find it to be a balanced and sweet wine, with abundant notes of red and toasted fruits on the nose. Interesting on any occasion.

Currently Enate is the preferred brand of many consumers and one of the favorite names of a good number of fans of quality wine.

Preparation and aging

Enate Crianza 2020 is a blend of Tempranillo (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) varieties. The grapes come from our own vineyards located in Salas Altas, Salas Bajas Cregenzán and Barbastro. These are located at about 600 meters above sea level and the limestone soils are not very fertile. After the harvest, carried out manually, a destemming process is carried out. Each variety vinifies independently in stainless steel tanks. Enate Crianza beans undergo malolactic fermentation.

The two varieties of Enate Crianza, finally, age separately for nine months: the Cabernet Sauvignon does so in French oak barrels and the Tempranillo does so in American oak barrels. After blending, it is refined in the bottle for another 18 months.

Tasting Note of Enate Crianza 2020

• View : Enate Crianza has a cherry cherry color with ruby ​​tones. Clean and bright.
• Nose : Medium intensity, presenting nuances typical of aging and toasted and spicy notes. Lots of red fruit added to floral and herbaceous memories.
• Mouth : Powerful and elegant. Long-lasting and fruity notes. It shows good acidity, pleasant tannins and a long and persistent finish.

Pairing

Enate Crianza is ideal to accompany grilled lamb, roasted red meats, sheep cheeses, sausages and stews.

It is advisable to consume this red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
