Las Ocho 2020

Las Ocho 2020 is an aged red wine protected under the DO Pago Chozas Carrascal, created to signify the pago wines of this winery.

The Chozas Carrascal farm is located 700 meters above sea level, in San Antonio de Requena, between the towns of Requena and Utiel.

Preparation and aging

Las Ocho 2020 is a blend of Bobal, Monastrell, Garnacha, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot varieties. Each variety is vinified separately. Fermentation at a controlled temperature at less than 25ºC, with maceration between 2 and 3 weeks depending on each variety.

Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle.

• View: Las Ocho has a ruby ​​red color with an intense layer. Clean and bright.
• Nose: Fruity and balsamic. Intense and elegant. Vanilla and toast. Combination of eight varieties harmonized in oak barrels from the Allier forests.
• Mouth: Powerful and meaty. Balanced throughout its entire palate, due to ripe and round tannins. Memories of balsamic, vanilla, coffee and chocolate, with a subtle mineral touch.
