Preparation and aging

Cepa 21 2022 is a single varietal of the Tinta Fina variety. The grapes are grown in soils belonging to the municipalities of Castrillo de Duero, Pesquera de Duero and Nava de Duero, chosen for their soil affinity. They present alternations of limestone and clay layers with slight outcrops of alluvial and sedimentary rock. Its origin is documented in the Tertiary and more specifically during the Miocene.

Aging for 12 months in new American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Note of Cepa 21 2022

• View: Strain 21 has a cherry red color with violet hues in a thin layer.
• Nose: Fragrant and attractive on the nose, with a palette of aromas dominated by black fruits, blackberries and blueberries, enriched with sweet notes of wood, chocolate and coffee. Retronasally we can perceive the delicate nuances provided by the balsamic and spicy French oak.
• Mouth: In the mouth it is intense and gentle, with a marked but harmonious structure. The aftertaste is long and suggestive.
