Magnum Belondrade y Lurton 2023 is a white wine made with 100% Verdejo and with the Rueda Designation of Origin.

Made by the Jean François Lurton winery. In 1994, the Frenchman living in Nava del Rey, Didier Belondrade, presented his first wine in Rueda, Belondrade and Lurton, revolutionizing the market for Spanish whites.

Preparation and aging

Magnum Belondrade y Lurton 2023 is a single-varietal Verdejo from our own vineyards planted about 800 meters above sea level. The 30-hectare vineyard, divided into 19 plots, is planted on pebble soils measuring about 10 to 60 centimeters, with a subsoil layer of clay and a deep layer of limestone.

After harvesting and selecting the grapes, a spontaneous fermentation takes place with native yeasts.

Subsequently, the wine spends 10 months in French oak barrels with its lees and 6 months in the bottle, before going on sale.
