Tilenus aged in Oak 2021 is a fresh and fruity red wine from Mencía in an agile wine that simply seduces with its elegance.

Bodegas Estefanía was founded in 1999 by the Frías family. Located in Ponferrada (León), it produces red wines from Mencía in the Bierzo Designation of Origin.

Preparation and aging

Tilenus aged in Oak 2021 is made from 100% Mencía grapes from vines between 40 and 60 years old. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel tanks.

It has been aged in 85% French and 15% American oak barrels for between 8 and 12 months. It rests in the bottle for no less than 12 months until the winemaker considers that the ideal point has been reached.
