The López de Heredia Winery, the oldest in Haro, was founded in 1877 and as if it were a wine cathedral, it is unfinished. In 1913 the Tondonia vineyard was planted, giving rise to its best-known product.

Preparation and aging

Viña Tondonia Reserva 2013 is a blend of Tempranillo (75%), Garnacha (15%), Graciano and Mazuelo (10%) varieties.

Aging in barrels: 6 years, subjected to 2 rackings per year. Clarified with fresh egg whites. Aging in bottle: The rest, bottled without filtering, in 75 and 37.5 cl bottles.
