Pruno 2023

In its previous vintage, Pruno 2020 was the best Spanish wine in history for less than $20, according to Robert Parker. Finca Villacreces is located on the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero. Its vineyards border those of Vega Sicilia and the landscape, forests of pine, olive and juniper trees, not only provides aesthetic beauty to the environment but also a particular personality to its wines.

Preparation and aging

Pruno 2023 is a blend of Tinto Fino (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). Regarding the production of this fantastic wine, after the manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, the grapes passed through a double selection table, first of bunches manually and then, of the grains through a ventilation system. . Subsequently, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks before aging.

Pruno remains for 12 months in 3-year-old French oak barrels.
