Cirsion 2018

Cirsion 2018 is a unique wine selected from the best vines by qualified grape harvesters. We think it is a very fruity wine.

Bodegas Roda was founded in 1987 in a vineyard overlooking the Ebro, in the Estación neighborhood of Haro. Since then they have made wines of the highest quality.

Preparation and aging

Cirsion 2017 is a red wine made with the Tempranillo and Graciano grape varieties. Selection of bunches from various plots. Application of own research on polymerization of tannins and anthocyanins. Fermentation in oak vats, with controlled temperature. malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.

Aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 8 months.

Cirsion 2017 Tasting Note

• View: Cirsion has a dark cherry color with a deep red bud.
• Nose: Very intense, the aromas overflow the glass, filling the space. Ripe black fruits with very fresh red notes that leave the wood in a secondary plane. subtle aromatic herbs, fennel and fine liquorice. In the background you can appreciate the aromas of humid earth and violets.
• Mouth: Voluminous with a caressing touch that expands when entering the mouth. Very fine and silky tannin. Black fruit with fresh red flashes. Very powerful retronasal route in which, in waves, the notes seen on the nose are appreciated. Very pleasant to feel at the same time the touch of silk in the mouth with the aromas entering through the back of the nose with marked fruit flavors and the sensation of freshness and elegance.

Cirsion is ideal to accompany aged cheeses, small game, Iberian acorn-fed ham, beef, roasted red meats, aged cheeses and grilled red meats.
